Now prove what you're made of.
Fight the bed.
Fight the phone.
Fight your mood.

Every morning becomes a moral test.
There is another version.
The clothes are already out.
The phone is outside the bedroom.
The session has a fixed start cue.
The first action is obvious.
There is nothing heroic about it.
That is the point.
The strongest discipline often looks less like willpower and more like architecture.
Motivation is unreliable because it is supposed to be
People treat fluctuating motivation like a character defect.
Yesterday I wanted it.
Today I don't.
What is wrong with me?
Nothing unusual.
Motivation changes with sleep, stress, reward, novelty, competing goals, emotion and context.
A system that works only when motivation is high is not really a system.
